Just remove your bikes plates and go for a ride..... plate removal is one minute per side.... this will tell you most of what you need to know. Off course the plates won't flow as much as the complete open hole allows each side.... as they are "honey comb" thus form a partial restriction.

I always use it when I hit the dirt.... nothing adds stability like a spinning rear wheel! If only the abs could be switched off as well.

More gradual throttle mapping as well.... maybe soft limiters as well.... hard to tell.

My bren tuned bike idles at 950rpm in neutral.... for the most part..... maybe see 900 for a brief second.... in gear and idling along in gear (1st to 3rd) maybe 1150 to 1200.

A bit of dry lube on the side panel lugs helps them seat without pushing the gromets out. Also makes it easier to remove the panel.... you can feel it.....

Fwiw.... I've played with the gear shift on my BMW r9t..... the shaft on that is a 13mm spline that is somewhat common..... I'm using a honda cr 250 shifter with that bike.... lots of cheap steel ones to play with from china.... think cut/play/weld and go from there....

Welcome..... when you do the tune.... see if the guy has a base stock motor run from a HD 114 or 117..... just to give some benchmark for his dyno. I love my tuned R18.... much the same as yours (filter, pipes and tune)... I'm aussie based. Also make sure he doesn't chase power at higher...
