Exactly, they just go through. You need to use the longer threads / bolts that come with the mirrors and screw them into the mirror arms. Then put them through the hole and nut them. I used the stock washer also but the BMW bolt won’t fit though.

I bought the Arlen mirrors and installed them last weekend. They look much better than the stock mirrors but they vibrate a lot more at higher speed. Visibility / field of view is also much smaller. It probably take some time to get adjusted. Will keep them on for a while to see how it goes.

Same here. I also got the “horse skin” jacket. A really well made piece of gear. Worth every penny. However, 30% more expensive here in Japan though.
