I gotta trust that this isn't a widespread issue at all. The bike came back from the reverse recall with some new chatter and whirring sounds. Took it 31 miles and it went kaput. I can't outright say the shop caused the problem, but I can't say it didn't either.

I went with roadstyler out of Poland. Did front and rear on my R18B. Solid parts. Shipping was costly, but I don’t think there’s a way around that anymore. Still was cheaper than OEM or wunderlich.

Oh wow, that’s a nice perk. Seems like a lot of us feel like we have to hide the fact that we tuned should something with the engine go wrong.

Pretty pumped for it. Can’t find much in the way of criticism, and nothing that the aftermarket doesn’t solve. I really wanted a tour case cuz I feel like I carry a bunch of stuff all the time. This should give me plenty of room.

Just ran a quote to NC and was like $115. I’d wager we’d be at about $150 to Florida. Note that UPS told me it’d be $200 to send a seat and then ended up being like $90 for real. I’ll refund any shipping difference for anyone who grabs it and happens to overpay the actual cost.

Sucks so bad that I sold the bike. Just can’t trust it after that. I’d hope it’s a fluke issue and nothing to worry about widely.

Correct - you flash back to stock with the version saved on the handheld. BMW will update the ECU as part of the recall fix and then, yes, BT will need $200 to modify that update. Once you have the bike back, you'll need to go through BT's site to "buy" the update option. I believe the unit will...
