Me too. I find the stock screen on the TC works just fine; I just wish it were taller because the top cuts through my sight line.

A 1/4" socket with the torx bit or a 1/4" open socket wrench with the torx bit. That's the right tool for the job.

I recently read an article about a cam upgrade for an older (2006-ish?) 1200gs that achieved an additional 20bhp. That would be a fantastic upgrade for the R18.

I've been pondering what engine mods might becoming available and naturally went straight to cams as the first possibility. Has anyone seen or heard of anything like this or other performance upgrades besides the Bren tune?

Thanks for posting this. I've tried adjusting the front toe shifter but couldn't find a position I liked, so now I know the solution. I'm good with the stock heel shifter.

Did you order the servo buddy for the s1000rr?

I do Balanced with 4 treble, 3 bass. A lot of the setting you choose also has to do with the style of music you listen to :)

Most of the overheat conditions reported have occurred during stop & go traffic when the valve would be closed or mostly closed. It certainly can't hurt to have the exhaust flowing freely and might have some small benefit to help with this issue.

So am I understanding correctly that all we really need to do to default the butterfly valve open is just unplug the circuit and plug in the servo buddies?

Tonight I located the flapper valve and servo but I'm still unclear on how to perform this mod without throwing error codes. Is this the correct Servo Buddy...

For those of us with the subwoofers in the hard bags, what are the thoughts about lining them with dynamat to help improve the bass sound a bit?

I started a thread about this same issue several months ago. Almost the same riding conditions and it happened to me. The first time, there was a big leaf stuck behind the oil cooler, but the second time had no blockages. I've done the first service and Bren tune since and haven't experienced...

No, the stock hard case brackets are too thick to clear the Freedom Exhaust 4.5" muffler. So they reengineered the bracket so the muffler fits. It doesn't change the height of the hard case.

I had that happen when I didn't stay logged in on the app. Once I did, I haven't experienced any issues.
