What did you do to your R18 today?

These are lumens PER light: I have two Squadron Pros on my Husky 701 and they throw a lot of light but they throw it everywhere. I keep one off and the other dimmed unless I'm off-road at night then I put both on. I'd blind people if I ran my 2 Squadrons at 100% full time. We've gotten pretty...

What did you do to your R18 today?

...Now I'm just waiting for the engine bars to arrive :( It's been 2 months but one of the last modifications has arrived! Clearwater Dixi which is a Darla in the middle for a driving light then a spot light for night time riding on high beam which will come in handy up where I live. For those...

Those damn Harley Birds LOL. I'm just going to have get aggressive about covering it and hopefully that bird will migrate to someone else's bike next season.

I have a bird that LOVEs the top box

Yes, I do have a cover but I went for a ride this morning, then didn't cover the bike because I'm going to take it to the bank later. This is the 3rd time in a week I've had to clear bird poop off the bike before it stains. Other than buying a new house with a garage or always keeping a cover on...

    R18 B 7 Jurock Windscreen

7 Jurock received my short screen today. They already dispatched a replacement today so no delay on waiting for one to be made. They charged me in total, $55 for the replacement so that's a $10 charge for the 20" screen upgrade and $45 restocking fee or about 20% restocking fee instead of 15%...

    A win for BMW

I finally took a closer look. Scott is absolutely right. Winglet add = turn signal relocation...no way around it.

    A win for BMW

Just to confirm: 1. Winglets can be installed but will interfere with R18 Bagger turn signals that are fork mounted 2. You'll need to relocate them to where they are on the TC so you bought the bar needed to mount them 3. They 'should' mount right up and work with existing wiring 4. you're also...

    In gear when parked?

Only time I'm in neutral is when doing service or pulled off the side of the road to look at a map (with right foot on the brake pedal but bike still running)

What did you do to your R18 today?

BMW had to do something symmetrical with the dash. I would have preferred they told me battery voltage or oil temp but oh well.

R18 TFT Grievances & Support Group Thread.... aka did the TFT annoy you today?

BMW's TFT Software updates are a bit complicated. What I've heard is BMW Dealers can't just update you, it has to go through the warranty. Like it's 4 hours or so on a lift to do the update. Once it took me 8 hours to update so that's lot of time of a bike just sitting there so I guess you could...
