What is the most current software version out there? Thinking of buying a 2022 R18 B and want to know what version I should ask them to update to, before I take delivery.

I've tried the Classic, and although heavier than my Sport Glide, it was really a delightful ride, but a different experience. The Harley kind of masks it's massiveness between your legs... With the BMW and those huge jugs out there, knees in the breeze, keeping things cool, it is noticeable...

Maybe the adaptive headlight is a bad option on these bikes, and should just be forgone? I'd think the light bar a more practical option. Or an engine with counterbalancers on the crank, so the vibration doesn't tear everything apart and break it, through failure. There would seem to be too...

Can say that I've done this on my Sport Glide, with a Heritage Classic shock swap out. 43 mm of travel on the Showa Sport Glide vs 56mm on the Heritage Classic. Makes for a much more enjoyable ride on my Sport Glide going from 3.5" to 4.6" on the back. Cost me $120 for the used rear shock off...

There is no increase in travel, just a taller shock absorber? I'd like at least 120mm of travel in the rear, as on the Bagger and TC.

Waste of money. You have a very expensive motor there, that breathes fine and dandy between 2000-4000 rpm and for it's displacement, really doesn't make a lot of horsepower or suck a lot of air. Nothing, and I mean nothing, filters air better on internal combustion engines better than the stock...

I'm beginning to think that that big 1802 cc motor with the unbalanced crank and the shake at start up on the handlebars and forks is tearing these things apart. Maybe a retro vibrator motor is not such a good thing for the rest of the build and destructive.
