Wind noise is also attributed to your helmet , i changed my helmet which definately helped , do not forget you get a lot of "up" turbulence from the cylinder area as well on the R18 , guys on the forum have fitted fork deflectors which they state helps as well .

Hi yes like i stated earlier if you do not mention the compensation the dealer won,t either , ask for the official recall letter what you should of received , ( but like myself never got one ) it clearly states you can have 4% of the cost of your bike when purchased to be spent on BMW accessories .

Its sad reading some of these stories obviously BMW are playing a game , i never had any letters or correspondence from BMW about my recall , i went and asked and then i was given a copy of the official letter , i agree it seems that if customers do not broach the issue the dealership keep quiet...

The official letter i read states you will be given 4% of the price you paid for your bike , which can be spent on accessories for the bike which will be fitted , i am getting engine bars fitted on mine this week at my dealership.
