I had the Day Rider seat on my R18. Much more comfortable, can be used without pillion and aesthetically, suited the bike imo.

No need to spoil the lines of the bike with ugly and unnecessary engine bars. There is space to get a strap around the saddlebag support bars in front of the bags if you need a rear point as well but up front, loop a strap either side of the headstock above the lower triple tree.

Welcome 👋🏻 I found on both my R18 and now R18B with footboards and the heel shifter, that switching them around on the shaft allowed me to lower the heel shifter and it sat further out so much easier to use. Enjoy it 👍🏻

No it’s not necessary, the bike can make its own adjustments. Same with the exhaust, it has wideband o2 sensors.

Welcome 👋🏻 You should have been given the manual along with the 10/13mm spanner that doesn’t fit with the rest of the onboard tools?

You will need to remove many, many bolts to get at them. Most of the front end has to come apart to get at those bolts. Have a look through some of the accessory installation manuals for indicators on the bagger and it will show you the process to remove the TFT as I had to when I fitted them.

Pretty common in the motorcycle industry. Just the same as you can’t buy certain akrapovic exhausts for Yamaha, Ducati etc other than from the manufacturer. You can’t buy the R18 Vance & Hines pipes from them or any of the Mustang seats direct either.
