This time around went with the Genius 1 since my old Optimate 4 Canbus does not support lithium. Using BMWs built-in pots to tender / maintain. Installation of the NLP30 was a piece of cake. Plenty of room.

Mine arrives tomorrow. In the end, it was an easy decision. Weight savings of 17 to 19 lbs 40 to 75% more cranking amps

Bit the bullet and went with the NOCO NLP30. Should be here tomorrow.

Best money spent! I've had the same Optimate 4 Canbus since my GS times, always had great AGM battery life > 4 years each. It's not just that, it's knowing you can trust your battery during that yearly week long trip.
