I don't think it improves the bike at all. Just a less subdued sound when rolling between 1,000 to 2,000 rpm. By the same token, I don't think that the whole servo mechanism improves the bike in any way. So why have that.

Got rid of the servo system.

On the Classic 2 up should be 18 assuming 300 lbs of passenger and up to 21 including full tank and saddlebags.
