Welcome. I'm also 6'4" and a former Road Glide owner. I bought a Classic and simply loved the lines and styling of the R18. It is a visual stunner and typically draws a crowd if I'm doing more than getting gas. Get used to answering questions...

Just checked with my local dealer who sold me the bike. $392 for a nose to tail inspection, all fluids changed, electrical system analysis, go through and tighten/torque any loose nuts/fasteners, inspect tires and rims... you get the idea.

White walls have to be on the right bike for sure. I would have never put them on my Road Glide... ever. Given the retro vibe of the R18, I think they fit the style. I didn't even think about the pin striping until you mentioned it. TY.

I'm no experienced bike mechanic but I do feel a bump in the clutch lever. I'm under the impression it's a characteristic of the boxer and the single disc clutch but there are others on this forum that are light years ahead of me in experience. Hopefully, someone will pipe in.

Now this is the route I'll go when it comes to replacing tires. Simple. Classic. That's about as timeless a look as one will ever see.

That's a great looking bike and I'm not really a bobber fan. Personally, I'm not into much customization and love my Classic just as it stands. I can remove the windscreen and bags and have a different look and riding experience. I would love to have one of the vintage front fender license...

Good to know and thanks for the follow up. I was very pleased with my MadStad on my Road Glide. Until then, I've used the add-on shown below as a "fill in" with some success. Still, Id rather have the engineered MadStad.
