Hi KevinQ, did you use this color for safety reasons? I installed the white auxiliary lights so auto drivers can see me better. Are there other color options such as blue that might make people think that a cop is approaching? I have seen blue headlights on cars but I wonder if they are legal.

It appears that the R18 is difficult to detect if the headlight is working properly unless you are a trained technician. All I know is that I have dim and bright lights. I don’t even know if I have the interactive turning lights w the 719 option and cruise control.

Note: Definitely don’t need the longer harness. Using the 6.5 mini ape hanger makes the installation easier. Running the harness externally is ok if you wrap with the brake and clutch lines.

That is correct Brett. The harness you listed has two ends that plug into the two BMW auxiliary lights. The other end plugs below the gas tank on the right side of the frame. Make sure that it plugs into the plug with matching two color coded wires.

Good morning sir. I attempted to take one of two bolts securing the riser to the triple so I can get the necessary 1” longer. It is unscrewing but it continues to be tight. Usually once you break loose, it becomes easier. Are they red LockTighted and need to apply heat? Regards, Tony
