Has anyone programmed or had their dealer program a second key to their R18 ? I assume we all got only one key and I always like to have a spare just in case, but was wondering if TWO keys can be set up for the same bike. Please let me know, thanks !

I understand and respect your point of view, especially if you are financing your purchase of your R18 if you did not have the funds handy for an outright cash purchase. No one wants to make payments on a bike that now is worth half of what your payments will be over the next few years...

But, just wondering what your initial impressions are simply sitting on the seat without riding yet...... seat looks quite firm/hard ?

And whats your opinion regarding this seats comfort as compared to the stock original seat ?

The chrome covers look great on the Trans Continental and baggers. Fit perfect with all the chrome trim on the rest of the touring bikes. BUT, I am going to try and spray paint my original OEM stock cover and also spray paint a spare used oil cooler cover I bought on Ebay. One will be gloss...

Just be aware that these dealership models are becoming more and more difficult to find. Many of the sellers that sold them previously are now totally out of stock on these. They are still available out of europe but now selling for $200 plus USD
