Good to hear, course at that speed I would be hanging on for dear life on my base r18 model due to wind and long reach to the handlebars I figure.

First weather ‘break’ here in florida with some cool temps since last year. Will toss caution to the wind and ride the R18 without any paint protection…though figure walmart internet or local auto parts store sells some sort of ’bonding’ cheap pump spray bottles to help protect paint maybe...

...and remember, if you want cruise control, not all 2021 R18FE bikes came with it nor can you retro fit it to the early production 2021 R18 models cause the wiring is different. That plus it would cost two arms and two legs to afford all the bits to make it work.

Others will fill u in. Only the base r18 and Classic get the limited 3.5" vs...I think 4.7" rear suspension trave on B and TC so the Bagger should ride fine. Maybe the rear shock setting was wrong for your weight? I have just the base 2021 r18fe so not of much help to you. Sounds like you can...

Did you add the custom pin stripe on the side panels? paint or vinyl? Yes, bags look sweet. Wonder how the pin stripe on them would look if the entire back in gloss black and the strip is extended into/around that flat gray area section?

The bike was on the main street to go over the bridge though on the dealership side. I did touch the canvas bags with my fingers for a moment lol. Looked nice…sadly bmw does not make them lockable and worry about how the bags will smell over time. Look good though. Had the doggies with me...
