    R18 with Pro-Race exhaust?? Opinions

Bike does not need a remap for mufflers, I have radiant cycles mufflers and they are the same way: cheap, light, no heat shield, no remap.

    Unit Garage sportail, anyone?

Good evening, Has anyone tried the Sportail conversion from Unit Garage? Looks pretty neat. I was considering doing some sort of chopped fender setup but between limited tail light options and possibly ruining a good fender I am open to other options.

    Customs R18

My local dealer (BMW moto Miami) decided to snort a line and grab a box of crayons to do this..

    R18 Heritage project completed

For future reference, do you have a price in mind for all of that? Or is this encouraged to be a sort of kit build?

    R18 Heritage project completed

Morning, When can we expect a release for the larger gas tank? You posted a video a year ago and I notice you got it working pretty well!

    BMW R18 Homage seat install

Yeah, pics and what spacers? I'm in a similar boat and wanted to bring up the seat height. The weekender seat is quite nice for touring but I get more discomfort from hip and knee angle over the long ride.

    Interesting exhaust options?

Literally save hundreds if not thousands and throw on some Radiant Cycles shorty mufflers. $130 for the pair.

    Thank you BMW

You and me both.. my R18 was the first new vehicle purchase I've made in years and so far so good. Many more miles to go!

    Thank you BMW

Well yeah that's where the maintenance will come in. I am just wary of these things. A friend of mine had his 1250 GS (not even 200 miles in) suffer a "OEM reported ECU fault" that had him return to the dealer in limp mode. Naturally, you want to flip everyone's desk after they finished...

    Thank you BMW

No bike will give you 100k trouble free miles. Something will give. The difference comes down to how well you maintain your machine and how much it cost to sort out the problem it gave you. Cycleworld isn't going to cover wind protection I think.. too many variables. Even the big touring bikes...

    Thank you BMW

The Harley road glide for the most part is probably their biggest bread maker right now.. riding around in Florida it's the only real model I see. Can drop all kinds of sh*t on it with the aftermarket selection so it's popular. I wouldn't put Harley in a shootout vs other brands because it's...

BMW Motorcycles and the Respect and Admiration They Deserve

If someone locally or even another manufacturer makes a better product, be it gas cap, handlebar, seat etc than BMW at a better price and availability I am going to go with that one. BMW can go kick rocks.. maybe they should have a sign on the front door: Only for stuck-up rich euro weeaboos...

What did you do to your R18 today?

Joker Machine gas cap for better grip.. threads all the way to the seal, too.

    handlebar risers by Wild1

    Harley Gas Caps fit...

I wonder if 1'' handlebars will work if the end section that tapers to 7/8'' is just filled with a sleeve of sorts. That would be huge.

    Harley Gas Caps fit...

I didn't think of it but figured hey let me try anyway and it screwed in and clicked all the same. Tight fit, same threading and size as the stock cap. I know the foot pegs from other brands fit too but the ending contour is usually too rounded off to retain the spring that is in the assembly so...
