Good news. An absolutely great dealership. They disabled mine when it was in for winter maintenance. Haven't yet heard from them about the fix but I'm patient. I won't be riding until the salt is washed off the roads.

DItto on all points, it is a PITA. At least could have provided a means to keep her upright so this is easier to accomplish. I use my phone, and keep the photo in my R18 folder, 'cause hell, I got it might as well keep it 'just in case'. 🤪

May not be the bars. Perhaps try a trick from offroad technique: weight the outside peg/floorboard by pushing down on it with your foot. This automatically shifts some of your weight to lower on the bike. It's not much of a change but can help. This can help with managing the center-of-gravity...

I, too, am glad the fix is coming. I occasionally use reverse to make some situations easier, usually in tight spots with limited maneuvering room. BUT (to change the discussion a bit) I do wish the reverse was geared a bit lower. I find the reverse speed is a bit too fast for comfort and ease...

I did extensive research when replacing my Battlecruise H50's at 6k miles. I also was very disappointed in the low mileage. I've found that, for me, the Battlecruise is the best tire out there right now. When a better tire is available, I'll certainly look into it as I'd like to get more mileage...

Huh, me too! At 5'10" and a 30" inseam, I don't think I qualify, either! In all serious, this is a great thread and I suggest it should be pinned.
