I thought twice about this project and decided to try to find a hub in order to keep my 19' wheel built. I called my dealer this morning: Been told the hub isn't available as a separate part. They just sell the whole wheel. I find that pretty scandalous ! :mad::mad:

I managed to buy (very cheap) a 16' rim and a new set of spokes. I've found a specialist able to rebuild the wheel using my 19' wheel's hub. Let see what happens...

I'm just out from our local dealer. The stop sale is activated in France and a recall will be organised asa the new part is available.

The starter may have an additional magnetic actuator, with a coil. If yes, they probably talked about that. Or, as it was saleman's words, he talked about the coil in the cash register... 🤣

Using the reverse on each ride, I got used to all the safety rules, and I have no problem with it. But I'd like to have it renewed if needed.

I never tried a Classic. But I like the look. I have a big fat front tire on my Montauk and the handling is ok.
