    Heel shifter replacement issue

So, on my new TC I have what is likely a metric straight heel shifter that can’t be lowered without hitting the exhaust shield. Harley has offset heel shifters that avoid this issue but are US standard sized and don’t fit on the splines of the metric shift rod. Does anyone have any suggestions?

First thing I did was to trade windshields with another rider (who wanted a tall windshield) for his medium windshield. Next I went on Amazon and ordered a fully adjustable windshield extension (adjustable...

    Seat manufacturers dilemma

Also of note, the smaller one man operations such as Steve Gowing in Fort Collins or Bitchin Stichin in Denver could customize your seat, but they would need your seat and it wouldn’t be cheap.

    Rider Backrest

Another good option for those seeking a rider backrest and not carrying a passenger is to fill up a bag and strap it to the passenger seat and thus a great backrest!

What did you do to your R18 today?

So I couldn’t stand the cheap look of the exhaust from the rear with the bright silver look and visible screws holding on the end cap and thus did something about it yesterday using barbecue paint rated for 1200 degrees. This blacked out look IMHO looks much better.

    Cost of first service

We have two dealers in Denver, one wants about $460+ and the other about $380 for initial service. Caveat emptor!
