I ride the Model B and have been caught in a couple of decent rain storms; I wear a fly fishing jacket made by ORVIS, H/H rain pants over my existing pants and my BMW high top sneakers riding shoes are also waterproof..
I'm bone dry when I shed the rain gear at my destination.. I'd say the...
It looks like the TomTom 550 only requires a two wire setup; opposed to a three wire, which would be 12V constant power, 12V ignition sense and of course the Ground connection.
Search the forum for folks who have already wired similar devices to "Switched" power, which is basically a power...
I guess I'm over thinking things... 18,000 miles and I guess the Model B is starting to feel a little lose; however, I find I'm dragging my Floorboards more often these past few weeks.. to the point where I checked the replaceable drag nuts, to see if I needed to replace them..
The reverse module isn't too bad to remove, but will require some patience and switching through gears in order to remove screws holding covers in place, if you have a heel shifter in place.

Sadly, BMW hasn't published any maintenance intervals for the front fork.

The person I spoke with on the phone, also has a R18 B and is super familiar with all of the accessories; probably worth a...
Are you looking for a different look or is this proposed change a performance enhancement..?
I added the machined RSD Reservoir Covers and the matching RSD levers & mirrors to my Bagger to compliment the black & chrome on the First Edition; the stock reservoirs, never bothered me esthetic or...
@Gr8adv - wait a minute.. did you actually drill out all of those holes within the engine cover, or is that an AI generated image..?
I actually like the way it looks... I'm not sure about drilling holes in the lower half of the engine case though..
When I adjust the audio on my Model B, I can only hear the lower sub audio range; if I force treble to the rear speakers via the equalizer, the audio is badly distorted..
I currently have my audio profile set as "Balanced", which sounds pretty good for a bike at highway speeds...
