I did that on my Freedom Performance mufflers, and have done the same with V&H mufflers on one of my Harleys years past. It made a big difference in tone on the R18 Freedom Performance exhaust. It's a little louder, too. My wife prefers it, if that counts :)
I recently had mine updated; it had been on the original version that shipped when I bought the bike last year. The service manager told me that it takes about 4 hours to do the upgrade, mainly because the data transfer speed for the TFT is so damn slow. Worse, when they did mine, the update...
1. You don't get the privilege of telling me why I bought anything, so F* off on that front.
2. Other than yelp reviews which can be easily manipulated, give us some actual sources for your claims.

Last weekend I decided to do a little experiment to see what the Freedom Performance exhaust sounds like without the baffle. It was really tough to get the end caps off, which is what holds the baffle in, but I got it done. Here's a short clip of the sound; let me know what you think!
My...
I measured the inside diameter of the muffler to determine the hole saw size. I recall that i thought 1.5" was slightly too big and would hit the side of the outside baffle. But take your own measurement and let us know what you think
