I have the cross country seat, and it is comfortable. But, if I was a solo rider, I would get the Weekender, and run it as a solo seat. Face it, the bike is for shorter rides, not 500 mile trips, or at least, not at once. It should be plenty comfortable for 100-200 mile day trips.

It fits perfectly, low profile, comes with a rain cover, and holds decent amount of stuff.

I suspect BMW sells them, but like all things Motorrad...I bet they are pricey. I haven't seen anything like them, in the aftermarket.

I rode my TC from FL to NC (Raleigh area) the 4th of July weekend. There was a Ron of traffic on I95, and we experienced stop n go ( actually crawling) for what seemd like forever, and never go any warning ⚠️. I was looking for it, but nothing. 😬🤔

I think Motorrad, is trying to get units out there! Offers and discounts, will help accomplish this... I believe BMW has invested big time, in the R18 platform, and will do anything, to get the ball rolling. My 2018 K1600B, was discounted $5K when BMW, saw the bikes weren't moving. My 2016...

I agree with both of you...I really want to do something with the seat issue. Just not sure what that is....any suggestions??
