    R 18 Bagger To K 1600 B

It’s not the floorboards, people have taken parts off, trying to find the issue. It’s in the design itself. The K16 Grand America is worse then the B, and is speed limited to 102-104. The GT and GTL are both solid at any speed, but none are as solid as a R18 B or TC. The Kbikes are quick and...

    R 18 Bagger To K 1600 B

2 different bikes, both style and ride. I have had 3 kbikes, 2-GT’s and a B. Be sure to take the B on the highway and get up to 75-80ish. The tail will wag and give to a unstable feeling. The R18B is rock solid at speed.

Help, I may have lost my mind ...

I have a R18FE cruiser, and a R18TC. I traded a 2020 R1250RT for the TC, and never looked back. The TC is way different than the FE. From seating comfort, leg room, fairing, ride, etc...Get the TC! It is a great bike for 2 up touring or just riding around. I have had the TC for approx 9 months...

6,000 miles service cost is ridiculous!

Fyi, the European vid you speak of, is giving out incorrect valve clearance specs.

6,000 miles service cost is ridiculous!

If you usually do your own service, I have the specific info needed. I own 2 R18’s, and the are very easy to maintain. Btw,I ran into the same issue. Just let me know via pm.

How many miles on your R18?

Not really, it is lighter. They are different beasts. I enjoy both, but the TC is my go to bike.

    Jack/Lift for the R18?

What they use, and should use...are 2 different things. I saw a dealer using a small sissor jack, along with a drive on ramp to jack my R18 up. I questioned him. His response was...we use anything that works. I tend to agree!
