    Innovv dash cam

I have the B, not a pure/classic. The more I look at it the more I think removing the entire fender on the B will be too difficult. I'll need to ponder this for a while. Side note, installed the K3 on my R 1250 RS the other day. works great!

    Innovv dash cam

If I am not mistaken it looks like for the rear camera and GPS in the photo you routed the cables for both under the fender (but presumably over the fender mount to ensure the cables don't get snagged in the rear wheel somehow. Am I correct? And if so, does that mean there was enough space for...

Tons of Stock Parts and Leather Goods for Sale

It's the stock classic windshield in a tall. Don't have a pick without plastic because I left that on to ensure it stayed in new condition. I also have the masked version but that one is slightly used. Standard classic - https://www.bmwmotorcycles.com/en/models/heritage/r18-classic.html

R18B Passenger Backrest / Sissy Bar

Wunderlich sissy bar and tail rack combo here on my new B. I had the same on my FE Pure. One noticeable difference is that the B's setup is significantly larger than the one they make for the FE Pure. But the installation was a bit easier, just with more steps (i.e. removing the seat and paniers.

Bagger / TC Tank Phone Case and Potential for Phone Camera Damage?

Also, on my R18 FE, I had my phone mounted to an SP Connect mount that was attached to my gas tank. And it did in fact break the camera. So no, this does not seem to be something that someone just "made up" on the internet. YMMV, however.

Bagger / TC Tank Phone Case and Potential for Phone Camera Damage?

This was the video that called my attention to it-

Bagger / TC Tank Phone Case and Potential for Phone Camera Damage?

The issue is vibration. Which our bikes have a lot of. So the phone cradle would need some kind of dampening system. Space in there is already tight. My phone doesn't fit with the phone case I have on it so I have to take that off if I want to put it in there.

    R18 Roctane

Can someone explain to me what exactly the difference is between the R nineT and the R 12 nineT?

    R18 Roctane

Tomorrow they debut it seems - BMW R18 Roctane and BMW R12 NineT. The shape of the R12 looks like a R18/R nineT hybrid.

Bagger / TC Tank Phone Case and Potential for Phone Camera Damage?

Recently traded my FE for a Bagger. While I enjoy the phone case on the tank, I have seen a few videos where people have mentioned the vibration from the bike damages their phone's camera while in the phone case on the tank. I was not sure if that is a common problem or not and wanted to see...

Complete Failure of Bridgestone Front Tire

Tire was made the 31rst week of 2020. As a result of my predicament, I was forced to mount a new Michelin Commander 3 on the front so I could at least make the 250 miles or so back home (it was the only tire available at the only shop open in the area I was in). While I didn't seem to have any...

Complete Failure of Bridgestone Front Tire

The attached pictures are from the front tire that was taken off my R18 yesterday. While on the freeway, I noticed a significant vibration and decided to slow to a stop. As soon as I applied a slight amount of front brake pressure, the bike acted like it was experiencing an extremely bad speed...

    Upper fork caps

The caps on the classic are much deeper than the base R18. This is due to the windshield support frame which has two plugs that go into the top caps. I had to change the fork caps on my base R18 to use the windshield.

Tons of Stock Parts and Leather Goods for Sale

If my memory serves, you install the leather strap bit first. Then put the rear end of the saddle through the strap but from an angle to one side of the bike. This can be a bit challenging due to the shape of the saddle and the fender, but it can be done. Then you have to push the nose back...

Tons of Stock Parts and Leather Goods for Sale

The fastback type seats can be difficult to install correctly. At least more so than the two piece design of the stock saddle. Particularly due to the leather strap bit that goes over the saddle. Unfortunately I don't think BMW's manuals give details on proper installation of this seat. I do...
