Had a close look to my R5 second seat (Pagusa), on eBay for 50-100 €,..... you can modify the mounting plate, let your girlfriend (or expert) do some stitching with leather (croc, snake, buffalo, cow, pony,... to your liking) cover the Pagusa Rubber and then get it all mounted....... (P.S. the...

Though my bikes are still "at storage" - I drive a R5 of March 1936 and a R18 of September 2020, the R5 may soon find a new gaggle of mates in Oxfordshire, while the grandson is destined to Mauritius. Thus, see you soon mates ;-)

I heard the difference - it is huge ! To my taste the standard exhaust pipes are wayyyyyy toooooo large (covering too much of the rear hub and the cardan shaft drive)...... thus a nice tweak to good looks with an enormous change in sound. The only drop of bitterness: there is no "cool" fishtail...

That is the original Bobber Kit of BMW - currently not available. However, an avid mechanic would get a simple Pagusa from eBay - get it covered in leather - change sligthly the mounting plate - and fix it...... Budget (100-150€) Look at No. 9...
