Traded the Bagger in on a TC. I put Memphis shades fork mounted lowers and the little fixed wind deflectors on the bagger to help with buffeting. I also have the KlockWerks windscreen. These modifications did a great job at reducing the buffeting and I was pleased with them.
Fast forward to the...
Picked Fat Elvis up yesterday, rode him 70 miles. Love, love ,love this bike!
Collected the wife and took her out for a bit. She thoroughly enjoys the back seat on the TC.
And the ride has to be because of its weight. Very smooth and soaks up bumps like a dream.
I am impressed.
Still waiting on my new (2023) Transcontinental to be delivered, so I download the manual for a little light reading. I found the following two things that I did not know about:
1. If you turn off the bike (power button, NOT kill switch) and hold the turn signal switch to the left, it will keep...
Has anyone put a light in the Transcontinental topcase? I know there is a DIN socket there, just need a solution to plug in there.
I had a light in my Goldwing Topcase. But I think it was battery powered. Any solution or idea will help.
Still waiting on my new TC. Got word that is has moved...
My local dealer found a new, in the crate, 2023 Transcontinental in Mineral White will every option that I wanted. Just traded the Bagger for it. Pics to follow.

Changed the title of the thread. I am now looking for a Transcontinental. Went to Motorcycle of Dulles last weekend and they would not budge on price, so I walked.
I am seeing new TCs online for as low as $15,000. I just have to have the 23 in Mineral White. Any help would be appreciated.
It is actually really easy. #0000 steel wool and WD-40. Might take some time given the amount of plastic burnt on, but perseverance and it will come off. You don't have to rub hard, just many, many times.
I have no idea what route I am taking. Just pointing West and heading out. Rain the next couple of days, but we should meet up soon. Going to Lawn on Sunday?
You are welcome to come by my place and chew the fat in the garage any time, rain or shine. I teach at Hempfield so I am available most...
