There is a slight flip and it does work very well. I can see about two inches over the shield and the air flow still goes over my head. Very happy so far.
I've had good luck using the Pitbull motorcycle lift. Purchased when I had my Can Am Spyder. From what I have read it can lift a bike much higher than most of other floor lifts. Had for several years with no issues.
If I were more patient, I would have just removed the catalytic convertors. Check out Bug Bike on YouTube they have a video with their cat deleted headers.
If it helps I'm 5'9". Tall comfort seat has worked out well for me. I can still easily flat foot the bike and no more back side pain after an hour. I am also able to see over the windshield which was my goal.
Stereo is not what I expected. But I do hear clearly with the 7 Jurock sheild while listening to XM. I still may try to add an amp and upgrade speakers once I get over the fear of fairing disassembly. 😥 BTW after my time in the Army and 30 plus years of factory work my hearing is not the best.
So far, I'm impressed with the 7 Jurock shield. Surprisingly while riding at highway speeds with my Freedom Performance exhaust, I can still hear the stereo clearly. I have the 20in windshield while sitting on the tall comfort seat. Prior to purchasing the windshield, I was considering a way to...
Gloss black with the white pin stripes? Once I saw in person that became my favorite combination. I may not be a classy guy, but I do ride a classy looking bike.
Foot position seems very similar to me. Actually, the Goldwing's foot position is the one thing that made the TC an option. Like many cruiser riders I assumed that I needed my legs stretched out to be comfortable. The GW's and TC's seating and foot positions are like sitting comfortably on an...
The Goldwing is a great bike. I had a 2018 Tour manual. But it started to bore the heck out of me. The GW was so smooth and quiet that it got dull for me. The only thing about the TC that disappoints me when compared to the GW is the infotainment set up. GW's was easier to navigate and there was...
As a TC owner that wishes I had a bit more luggage space I would consider a larger trunk. If I had the B and wanted to mount a topcase I would consider the Indian Roadmaster trunk. It has better capacity, comes in black and IMO would fit the style of the Beemer. But like most things motorcycle...
I'm single and have had a taken a few ladies for rides on my TC. I must admit that it never occurred to me to ask about comfort. But I do know that they all fully enjoyed their experience on the back with me. I am a previous 2018 Goldwing owner and wholly agree with your assessment. The GW is a...
I admire your patience. My mods have held up well so far. But if I have any issues all I have to do is weld the cut support sections and remount the stock pipes.
The pipes for the bagger and TC are going to mount differently. I installed a set of Freedom Performance pipes on my TC. It wasn't difficult but you will have to cut the saddle support bar to install pipes designed for the classic. I'm not the most mechanically inclined guy and I figured it out...
Ordered a set of leg rest in October and am still waiting. I understand all of the issues facing us all these days. BMW should have had a reasonable supply of accessories in dealerships when the TC and bagger were released. Sadly, there will never be a serious aftermarket for these bikes. Having...
Sadly, I live in northeast Ohio. I have yet to test the new windshield on the highway as of yet. But from past experience I have no doubt that it should be effective. I'll try and update when it ever warms up here in Ohio.
Added slanted tips to Freedom Performance exhaust. Sound great but do wish they were length of stock exhaust. Note: these are not meant for the TC or Bagger. I had to modify/cut the BMW exhaust/saddle bag support bar. Left enough of the bar to support saddle bags. Worked out well.
