After several calls to corporate with no help and a call to the Division of Consumer Affairs. Miraculously the bike is fixed. Will update when I receive her.
The Dealership said no. Once you alter the vehicle the warranty is void on the OEM part itself. it has to be the r18b adaptive headlight housing.
BTW I'm not just waiting on a light bulb. its a sealed unit.
Update: Spoke with BMW Corporate several times, seems like theres nothing they can do about the delay.
Still no eta and there are 88 in the US that are back ordered.
Hit the power button to let the phone sync while I put on my gloves and helmet, Mount(bike is straight) then start the motor. Why?
It also spends all it time on a Stand in the garage... the kickstand is only used on trips.
Well I became a victim tonight... noticed I didnt have any light down the road... the entire housing from the inside came apart 🙁

That the best I can do for comparison, if you're on the wall about it, just do it. Improves low speed handling and reduces driver fatigue.

BMW does a good job, with ergonomics. they come with valve stems facing the right side, so when the bike is on its kick stand, all you have to do is position the valve stem most comfortable for you to reach. I've done it twice, wasn't difficult at all.
I'd be interested in the bracket itself. I haven't had much luck with parts fitting with my k1600gt. So I don't have much faith in it. for other stuff such as sunglasses or waterproof bags, yeah I've purchased them, but I'm a little weary on direct fit stuff. I guess it's "you get what you pay...
