Lateral Stabilizers for my R18 Transcontinental

If that’s what needs to be done to keep you safe then so be it. Do report on them as someone else may consider your approach. The TC is a heavy ballerina.

R18 Concept exhaust replication done right. Thoughts ?

Don’t take it the wrong way. There has been a couple of instances where “new members” not genuine owners, have infiltrated the forum pretending to be real owners to sell items that never existed and some owners felt safe believing that if they were here they wouldn’t play dirty. The truth is...

    Hello from South Texas!

That price is a very good price for any decent bike, not just a Roctane. If you like it and you have the money to buy her, I would say, pull the trigger. Sure you can keep searching and you may find one slightly cheaper but in the quest you may lose this one and not find another one for a little...

Yamaha is Developing a Self-Driving Motorcycle

I don’t like the Yamaha concept design, looks way weird. BMW started experimenting with a self autonomous GS a few years ago and I believe they have already started a self levelling, steering and what not concept of a very futuristic looking bike, some sort of Tron like bike if you know what I...

    Hard starting

Yup, you can hear this humming noise when you switch the ignition on which I believe is the fuel pump indeed.

    Hard starting

I may be a very lucky owner but my R18B never misses a beat, she starts first time every time. Could be luck or methodology and this is why I am saying this. 1-I never switch the bike off using the red kill switch. 2- When I switch the ignition on, I wait for the bike to run its diagnostic. On...

    Speedometer Error

I have never used an external monitor to compare speeds and you may be right, however, one thing to bear in mind is that although a GPS device is very reliable, one needs to account for data fluctuations given that the GPS works on the basis of triangulation. By this I mean that the data you get...

    Menu Button is Changing Modes??

Never experienced this. Where about were you on the menu side of things that allowed the riding modes to sneak into?

    Fob voltage ?

I think it is trying to tell you that the battery in the fob will need replacing soon. It happened to me about a year ago and I replaced it with a CR2032 type. Unfortunately this new battery only took a month before another warning showed up and I happened to be at the dealership at the time...

    Time To Move On ?

I agree. Unless the bike is no longer for you because of health, practicality or other factors, I would stick with it. It is one of a kind, timeless, reliable, dependable and capable cruiser. It may even go up in value in a few years due to its uniqueness and low numbers. I like a few bikes out...

    Welcome from southern Nevada

Awesome first edition B. There is little else needed but of course, it is down to personal preferences. The only thing I did to mine was to add the wind deflectors on the batwing and that got rid of 90% of the turbulence. They are not the OEM ones, they were from EBay 😁

    Hard starting

Not sure I followed the first bit but did you mean you use the red emergency kill switch whilst the bike still rolling, i.e, moving? The way I stop my engine is by pressing the power button situated on the right handlebar control cluster. By then I have already entered my garage, came to full...
