    Engine heat

Having just got back from 1200 miles on the K1600 only to do a 250 mile charity ride on the R18 the next morning, the K1600 roasts me far more than the R18 did in stop and go traffic.

    BMW (Mustang) Seat options breakdown

I installed the Weekender about two weeks ago. Since then I have done two fairly long rides. 229 miles and 180 miles. A world of difference. I also like that the pillion is optional.

    Forum Opportunity

It appears to have found its way out of the dealer. The biggest issue is it would be very limited on its use as there have been several revisions since the release of the bike.

    Forum security

We do our best. It is only the two of us and we probably deny 3-4 new users a day. We have spam guard enabled, but it cannot catch everyone.

Hornig Service Stand… Yes, it is worth it.

Just got my service stand. I wanted it more to keep the bike upright and stable when packed, but also like to have the bike in that position when cleaning and detailing it. Here are the pictures. I didn’t go for the fully movable one, but this one is good for what I need it for.

    Issue with the reverse gear

Sometimes the reverse gear doesn’t fully engage. A couple times I’ve had to reach down and push it while gently rocking the bike to get it to fall into place.

    A Perfect Fit

They are the larger touring bags. They are made of plastic. I scuffed them down and painted them to match. I have a set of the smaller leather ones. They are in Pristine condition. For the right price they could find a new home.

    Titling and Insurance Problems.

Funny you say that! So I have a “Hat-Trick” of titling issues that I need the MVA to take care of. 1) Fix my R18 Title from 1991 to 2021 2) Register my 2001 R1200c as Historic 3) Title my 1963 Honda Benly 4) Consolidate my title/Lien Release to a clean title for my Ford Raptor. You would...
