Sorry for the loss of your friend. I think I'm finally on the mend, but still weak and not back to 100% yet. My Wife just came down sick a few days ago and got her positive test result today. I'm hoping it doesn't hit her as bad as it hit me.

Unless you are sick with it. Then it is very real. I was coughing up blood, and running 103 fever and had non viral covid pnuemonia. It didn't seem very fake to me. I was very ill for naerly two full weeks. still very weak and scarring on my lungs.

Do they help much with buffeting, or turbulence ? I have mine, but have been ill with covid and haven't been able to install or test them yet.

Luggage Rack install was pretty straightforward. Until I was done. On my R18 Classic-the factory bag lids rubbed against the rail of the luggage rack. I went to the hardware store and got chrome spacers in 1/2" and 1/8" thicknesses for a total of 5/8" (about 16mm for you metric folks out there)...

My luggage rack arrived from Poland today. Right at 2 weeks. Looks pretty good. I'll post pics after I get it installed in the morning. R18Holan came through with no problem. Tomek was great to work with.

I have a rattle/vibration in the front of my bike and I think the lower mounts are the source of it. I plan to remove the windshield and ride for a day or two and see if it goes away. Wind protection can't be much worse without the windshield than with it. . . . . .LOLOL ! ! ! I love this bike...

How does the windshield on the R18 Classic release for removal ?

I have ran 5 tanks through so far. 49mpg was my best full tank, 42mpg was my "worst". High speed highway and city driving seem to drive it down. Relaxed cruising on two lanes are the best. There's a lesson to be learned there. . . . . . ..LOL.

What are those bags ? BMW ? Available for sale ? I like them. I had some vintage fiberglass bags on a R75/5 years ago that looked really nice. These look great on this bike !
