Marcelo,
Thanks for the reply. Can you post a link to the part?
Is it this one the Highsider Can-Bus Resistor?

If so do you remember your settings?
Best,
Tom
Hi Marcelo,
Did you get your electrical problems corrected with the Kelermann Bullet 1000 DF install? What did you have to do? Please let let us know.
Thanks,
Tom
Done. I went to clean up the wiring and solderless connector I added last night came off. I’m glad it did it now in the garage and not on the road. I switched to a 26-24 connector and that seems to be a lot more tight. Originally I had a 22-18 connector which didn’t grip the wire insulation...
One side is done. The pin I made from the drill bit to keep the auxiliary light from rotating worked perfectly.
I removed the shrink wrap and Rizoma rubber turn signal base as they weren’t staying on. Removing them was good because they took up too much space when the connector was in place...
Putting the lights together tonight. I went with neoprene washers to add some friction so the lights don’t spin since the light beam is directional. I slid a 1/2” nut driver down the wire and tightened the locknut by hand with Locktite Blue. After I slid the Rizoma rubber turn signal base I used...
They just posted this info on FaceBook. I'd really like to see it on a bike. Not sure if it would be too busy for me. I've already got the machined valve covers, clutch cover, front brake cover and rear brake cover. It might be pretty sweet.
The installation instructions are here https://www.bmwmotorcycles.com/en/service/manuals/workshop-installation-instructions.html for what's available depending on the model bike you select. To get here by going through the menus from the main home screen at www.bmwmotorcycles.com go to...
I've bought 6 OEM accessories and only 1 contained printed instructions (which also had a QR code on the paper that took you to the installation instructions website). It was the windshield bag.
It's interesting to check out the installation instructions on the website since they list...
One thing I was trying to solve is that our directional indicators have the one light in the instrument cluster instead of one indicating the turn signal flashing for each side. The Motogadget lights give off light in a 180 degree spread with a more intense beam in the direction of travel. I'm...
I have been looking for a bracket for the last two weeks that could use the original 8MM bolt where the OEM turn signal mounts that would be suitable to hold the Motogadget M-Blaze pin lights and still hold up the auxilary lights. After trying the BMW dealer, looking online for hours and hours...
I’ve been using an Optimate 4 for several years on my previous BMW and now on my R18 Classic. No problems and plugs directly into the Can Bus so no messing with the battery, pigtail connections etc. I also use a separate Optimate on my BMW car and that’s been great too. Here’s a link to the...
So I’m not done but I’ve made some progress.
- I found that cutting the base of a 1/8” drill bit will serve as the pin that keeps the auxiliary lights from rotating 180 degrees. It looks like around .165” in length works. The pin still allows the light to slightly rotate forward or backward by...
I'm diving in to see if I can replace the front directionals on my R18 Classic with Motogadget M-Blaze Pin directional LEDs. I ended up purchasing them from Revival Cycles in Austin Texas, https://revivalcycles.com/collections/motorcycle-signals/products/motogadget-m-blaze-pin-turn-signals. I...
There might be another thread on the GS-911 but search keeps telling me there aren’t enough keywords. Anyway, the R18 and R18 Classic are on the GS-911 roadmap page for support in the short term future:
Support for the K34 R18 & R18 Classic
