I ordered the stand from Hornig. It is made by Kern Stabi. it is a 2 piece stand front and back. the back one has to be installed before the front one. Very stable platform,rocksolid. very easy to use.

I definitely like the sissy bar! It comes off in 5 seconds. I installed 80mm M8 stainless steel rods with 2 nuts as a spacer between the bushings for the sissy bar and the side bags. the bags slide over the protruding end of the rods and I secure them with wing nuts on the inside of the bags...

Hornig crashbars and sissy bar from Motea.

I have them on mine.Very happy with them. I'm 6'6" and I can stretch my legs comfortably. they are definitely very strong and are a perfect fit.

I ordered the bars yesterday. Supposedly they come with removable rubber footrests. It shows on their website. Regarding shipping costs of Motea, I think they are ridiculous! If you order from Motea through ebay it's about half the cost.

6'6" and 255lbs. It took a little while to get used to the seating position, but now I'm comfortable with it after changing the angle of the handle bars. At 63 and stiff like a board at times I have to say I have been in a lot less comfortable positions in my life than being on the R18.

I use the 70W80 gear oil from Mopar and for the engine 15W50 Motul 300V 4T. The Motul oil exceeds all existing standards. Especially living in FL I prefere a engine oil that can handle high heat.

I just ordered the stand from Hornig with an additional set of swivel wheels to be able to maneuver the bike to where ever you want to. $330 incl. shipping. once the rear is lifted you can also lift the front with a $60 scissor lift from amazon to level it out. the Hornig stand looks pretty neat...
