    Maybe I'm blind, but can someone explain what the difference is between the BMW and MOPAR GL-5 differential fluids?

    I was told it is 210ml. but when I drained it,it was 250ml. I put back 230ml, split the difference.

    6,000 miles service cost is ridiculous!

    I adjusted mine to 0.25 inlet and outlet the spec is 0.20-0.30

    I received the 2 versions of the windshield from clearview today. the B version definitely works for me at 6'6"

    I purchased the final drive oil from Mopar with the same specs as the BMW's 70W80 Gear oil for about $15 a quart.

    The valve clearance check is every 6000 miles and can easily be done by yourself

    My first service was $430 in Ft Myers. The final drive 70W80 gear can also be purchased through Mopar for around $15 a quart and not $85 a 1/2 liter(pint) with the same specs as BMW gear oil.

    The backrest is a removable style made by craftride and purchased through Motea in Germany. Also check out RoadStyler based in Poland. way cheaper! and they have one with a removable luggage rack.

    I only install them while checking the pressure and remove them afterwards. .

    Check out a company in Poland called RoadStyler. They offer a backrest for the OEM seat. Their prices are very reasonable even the shipping charges. it might take a while to get to you though. The cost is between$82 and$98 depending on style. Don't know about the shipping to Australia.
