    Classic Without Screen

I removed the windscreen from my Classic today and went for a nice long ride. The buffeting was significantly reduced. I think I'll leave the wind screen off unless there's inclement weather.

    Floor board options ??

I made the switch from floor boards to pegs. You will absolutely need the boards, new brackets, a heel shift lever and a different side stand. A new brake pedal is nice but not critical. It's not a hard job if you have a center stand or someone to hold the bike vertical while you replace the...

Thanks for the replies. I can't wait to give it a try so I'll be burning some fuel.

How do I turn off the fuel reserve screen?

Sounds good. What is the "round thingee" you speak of?

How do I turn off the fuel reserve screen?

I did but it was during the 20 mile ride to the nearest service station that annoyed me by hiding my RPMs and gear selection.

How do I turn off the fuel reserve screen?

Sorry for the basic question but I read the manual a few times and I can't find the answer. I finally hit the "reserve" fuel yesterday. The reserve fuel display completely took over my usual display and began counting up miles by the tenth. I assume it's just letting me know how far I've...

    Help with setup, please.

Today I removed my foot boards and replaced them, along with the side stand and brake lever, with foot pegs. For me, it made all the difference in the world. With foot boards I was missing 9 out of 10 upshifts and, occasionally, downshifted when trying to upshift. I went for a 60 mile ride and...

    Help with setup, please.

I’ve owned and ridden Harley Davidson motorcycles for decades. All had foot pegs, none with foot boards. I’ve ridden a few friends bikes with foot boards and never had any issues upshifting. Unfortunately, I find it extremely difficult to upshift my R18 Classic. The rear shift peg is so high...

Mine has a place for the spanner but my spanner is about an inch too long to fit the space. It was delivered with the documents as well.

    WTB Rider foot pegs

Wow! That's a lot of parts for two pegs. I'm interested in your take offs. Do you have any idea how much you'd like to get for them?

    WTB Rider foot pegs

I see that Wunderlich has a set of footpegs. It doesn't look like they mount to the foot board bracket, though.

    WTB Rider foot pegs

Thanks for the offer but I'm not sure I'm ready to give up the foot boards just yet. I'd like to reserve the option to go back to the foot boards if I don't like the pegs,

    WTB Rider foot pegs

Does anybody have a pair of rider, not passenger, foot peg assemblies for sale? I'm not sure I like my foot boards.
