    Hello from Savannah

Welcome but that looks like an R18B not a Roctane. They're 2 different models - nice bike ether way.

    Future R18 owner

    Nice ... that's how I got my 2024 Classic - there was an incentive I couldn't resist.

Geez, and I just spent a few hundred CAD on the BMW oval ones (still to arrive) .. got a pic on the bike?

    Perspective

I've only put on 496 km on my new bike so far and I've acclimated to it VERY well. When I compared the ground clearance of my other cruiser, a 2012 Triumph Thunderbird 1600 ABS, with both in the garage I couldn't help but wonder how much lower the R18's floorboards are to the Triumphs. But you...

Hi From Canada, coming from a Triumph Thunderbird

I think I know the bike you bought as I had an eye on it as well when I was looking around ... similar to the one up in Orillia?

You're matching with the pinstripes. :)

    Indian mayority stake sold

We don't face them because there will be no more R18 cruiser from BMW it appears. Either 2025 will be the last year or will it be 2026?

Will trade R18 Weekender seat for R18 option 719 seat.

If I didn't just receive my Weekender seat yesterday I may have done this trade but where is location '28027' as is shown under your forum name?

Hi From Canada, coming from a Triumph Thunderbird

Thanks ... I'm in Brampton outside the GTA. Have family in Brighton and was just there this past weekend. Was out to The Highlands twice in Sep ... I hear there are some amazing roads too north of Kingston.

    Stiff rear suspension

Is it a relatively easy upgrade to change the spring?

Setting the proper preload for the rear suspension

Let us know how it goes as I'm probably around 160 lbs with gear on but thankfully it looks like it's easy to adjust from looking at the PDF manual ... at least when compared to most bikes that require a special tool to turn a collar that always ends up in scraped knuckles.

    Freedom 4.5" Exhaust

I've got on order a set of 4" for my Classic.

Setting the proper preload for the rear suspension

As a new owner and forum member this is a great thread as I'll be checking mine when I get it.

Hi From Canada, coming from a Triumph Thunderbird

Hello everyone I've bought a new 2024 R18 Classic Option 719 in Moonstone White recently at a great discount and just waiting for delivery. I'm hanging onto my 2012 Triumph Thunderbird 1600 even though the R18 is 'expected' to be it's replacement. Anyone else coming from that same bike?
