My 2024 Classic are fine on 3 with leather gloves (enough to keep my hands warm down to about 6 or 7 Celsius).
Does your friend ride with bare hands maybe?
Edit: Or thinner gloves than you?
Yeah my speedo reads about 6 km higher than actual. All bikes seem to do it these days. I may try a a taller profile on the rear tire to make that better when the time comes for a tire change. Will raise the rear a bit as well.
Currently I have a 180/65-16 so it'd be a 180/70-16 if they even...
Very nice and good point on the cats still being in place.
I suppose I could just remove the exhaust pipes and ride without them on for a bit to get an idea of what it'd sound with those small tips on. Then decide on whether to grab a pair or not.
Man, you guys in those riding areas that allow you to enjoy it year round are so fortunate.
Up here in the Toronto area we got a few inches of snow yesterday. I went out for a couple of hours on Saturday when it was still chilly but do-able.
I'm afraid that may have been it until April.
So I was out on Sat and this is exactly what was happening I humbly admit.
My gloves thumb is a little longer than my actual thumb and the tip of it was reaching over and touching the Mode button.
It's happened several times and I'm sure it wasn't a mis-touch on the wrong button. I prefer to ride with the RPM showing on the LCD but there'll be times when it'll go to something else (like when the fuel reserve light comes on and it switches to the count-up km). When that happens I lose...
Has anyone else noticed that while riding and using the Menu button to scroll up that it'll sometimes change the Mode (eg. goes from Rock to Roll)?
Only the Mode button should do this function ... must be a bug in the software.
I went with the Freedom Performance 4" slip-ons and am happy ... won't sound as good as a v-twin or a Triumph parallel twin but it's better than stock.
Doesn't anyone ride with earplugs over here? Me personally, I use the Loop earplugs. Valve clatter is never an issue and the sound from my Freedom pipes comes through as a nice background rumble.
Whenever I leave the earplugs off for a short ride across a parking lot or something similar when...
Just dbl-checked and I see this: "Height is measured in a straight line, from the bottom center point to the top of the windshield. Width is measured at the widest point around the front, following the curvature of the windshield."
I think that means the headlight opening.
Anyone know where 7Jurock measures from to get their measurements?
Is it from the headlight opening to the top or from the very bottom edge to the top?
I test rode both (B & C) and now own the white Classic like yours and will say the Classic with it's lighter weight was noticeably quicker when giving it.
