BMW gives up the R18 !!!!

    You won't see a 2026.

Brand and tire life on the R18

Not for me ... looks too much like a car tire tread and unless you're planning on riding in lots of rain I don't see the point of all of those blocks but I understand there are other POV's as well.

    R18 Classic exhaust clearance

Might just be a factory variance but you can easily loosen up the collar holding the pipe to the header and see if you can adjust it further out (and/or maybe the other side further in).

BMW gives up the R18 !!!!

$4,000 or 4,000 miles? If it's the first, I'd take it for a ride and buy it if it still rides fine.

    Reputable Seller or Scam

I can't help with your question but I can suggest something I've been doing for a while and that's to ask for a picture of the part you want with a piece of paper on it with your member name and the date on it (or some other text you choose). That way you know he's got the part and it's not...

    Emblem for Left Side Cover

Not if you remove the speaker as you said you were ... just trying to understand why you would remove that.

    Emblem for Left Side Cover

Doesn't it just do that with a notification on your phone and not a beeping noise?

What did you do to your R18 today?

I almost always wear gloves but looking at it, it appears the sharper edge may be uncomfortable on bare hands in the really hot weather.

What did you do to your R18 today?

Nice ... moves it closer to the grip than stock?

    The haters´ magnifying glass

There are many more things to worry about in life than the language a post was written in ... I completely skipped it as I didn't understand it. We also need to be careful not to always be looking for reasons to be offended ... lord knows there's enough of those people in the world!

My work in progress over my R18Bagger

You can buy those rubber ones you see from the factory from China (aliexpress, etc.)

BT Moto ECU Flash Group Buy and Discount!

Sadly I won't be able to ride the bike with the new flash for another 5 months or so.

My work in progress over my R18Bagger

That's some serious work there to source everything you need (and know what you need). Well done!

    Ride to eat

I've heard that. Benefit up here is we have some great twisty roads (I've been impressed with how the R18 handles them too) but riding season is about 6 months only. Now where's a place where you get both good weather and good roads?? California?

    Ride to eat

Envious of you guys still wearing t-shirts with palm trees in the background!

to chinese or no to chinese

You can bet that the design and pre-manufacturing work was done in Germany for those Wunderlich pegs. The Chinese then just buy a set and easily copy them. It's what they've been doing forever. The Wunderlich pegs it says on the ad are made by hand in Germany and for sure their labour is more...
