These bikes are gorgeous in a classic, timeless way. I don’t get why the prices are tanking atm. Such a nice alternative to the Harleys and Indians, which are great in their own ways.

It's not just the R18... it's ANY cruiser that's not Harley (and maybe Indian).

All the Japanese cruisers disappeared when the EPA started clamping down on emissions... It wasn't worth the hassle of making those giant, air cooled lumps meet regulations.

These days, you can pick up a used VTX 1800... Roadliner 1900... or even a Vulcan 2000 (with relatively low mileage) for less than $5k USD.
