R18 Anniversary Edition
My original windshield choice for the R18 was the Jurock 18" that mounts on hardware normally seen on the classic (you can mount classic windshield hardware on the R18).The Jurock is 4.5 millimeters thick and is a terrific functioning windshield. It is also wide.

Then one day I came upon the Puig windshield. It looked so clean on the R18. Not big and bulky and it did not detract from the beauty of the R18. So I dismounted the classic hardware and mounted the Puig.

The Puig is a nice looking unit but at 3 millimeters thick it isn't as rigid as the Jurock. The Puig is a decent windshield for a cruiser, but if you frequently ride highway speeds, the thicker Jurock might be the better option.

So with some regret, I dismounted the Puig and went back to the Jurock. The Puig looks terrific on the bike, but the Jurock is solid.

Conclusion.....I am going to sell the Puig at a tempting price as it has great optics and works well. It is a bit narrower than the Jurock, so you get some straight line wind on each shoulder.
