I've been dedicating myself to the music industry playing drums as a freelance all my life, after lockdown I saw no future doing what I loved most so I tried to make my hobbie (cars & motorcycles) a profession in order to survive, after two years working and learning mechanics and being in touch with the automotive industry I ended up working at the local BMW dealership at the aftersales department.
Today I am able to combine both things witch make me proud of it but there's still so much to learn... luckily I can spend time riding my R18 First Edition in between, to me one of the most beautiful motorcycles ever created.
My story with the R18 is a bit random, always loved custom motorcycles, and by the time I was working at the local Harley Davidson - Ducati dealership, also runned by my boss at BMW, so I was going for and HD Softail, a carburated one in particular. But as soon as I joined HD asked my coleagues if they new if at BMW they had any R18, they told me "yes" so i went on my first day to check it... It is a bike I was so keen to see cause when the first concept video was lauched, it was love at first sight plus it got officially lauched by the Covid times if I'm not wrong and today many people still don't know about it.
So after the Softail I was about to buy got sold, went straight and bought my R18, and what a good ending it was, despite it cost me twice the price, to me it is hundred times a better bike.
