I also notice that there is a black version of the light 63179443351 and a chrome version 63179443350. Is the chrome version all chrome? I would like it to match my main headlight (black rear with a chrome front just behind the glass). Like in the attached photo. So which part number is...
Thank you 33Cruzr. But I am confused a bit after having read the entire thread and the installation instructions posted by JayB. To me, it seems like you’d need 2 additional turning lights and a wiring harness for each. The new turning lights ups the cost a lot. You mentioned earlier in this...
I want to add OEM auxiliary lights to my R18 100 years (it will be like adding it to the FE model I suppose).
Do I need 3 parts? (lights, light bar and the wiring harness). I could only find the part number for the harness (61121542507). What other part numbers do I need?
I was actually going to order from max, but I didn’t get a response to my e-mail. I tried contacting them twice. I will try again.
Yes, the 100 years edition is 2023.
I guess I should reject the cover, since it won’t be factory painted. Would anybody know if the paint for of the cover for right side panel of the 100 years edition “blackstorm” ? Or is it a different color?
The cover and the emblem that I ordered through my BMW dealer arrived to them today from Germany, but the cover is a matte color unlike the original part. They don’t know whether it is the wrong part or whether they are supposed to coat it with the color code and they are researching about the...
The right side panel of my 100 years edition also flew off and BMW refused my warranty claim, so I need to order it. I found the part numbers of the cover and the emblem, but when I view the chart for the parts I also see axial securing clip and rubber grommet attached to the cover each with...
Just a follow-up for anyone who looks for this in future. I learned from the BMW service that the torque values shown in the service documentation are 56 Nm for frame bolts and 100 Nm for the suspension bolts.
I torqued the rear frame bolts and shock absorber bolts to 50 nm since all the screws are 10.9. (Shock absorber bolts are M12, rear frame bolts are M10.). Do you guys think I am good to go? Wilbers doesn’t want to give any recommendations.
I disassembled everything and removed the original shock. Now I will assemble it. What should the torque values of the 2 bolts of the rear shock be? And also, what about the 4 bolts that hold the rear frame? I searched everywhere but couldn’t find the torque values for these
Hello everyone,
I purchased the Wilbers Rear Shock with -/+ 20 mm height adjustment and XPA. Its manual isn’t R18 specific and when I contacted them, they told me they don’t have a model based manual.
Does anyone know of a write-up or a video showing how to install it? Or can anyone who has...
