I went to Friday the 13th Port Dover event In Ontario last year and saw ONE other R18 in the midst of thousands of bikes. Too bad the owner wasnt around. We be a rare breed.

first change after 20k kilometers of the fronts which were the original Bridgestone Battlecruise H50. The Rear still has 5k left im guessing. Went with the Commander 3. Handles better in rain so far. But it sings too. Louder music helps. Will try the 888s when the rear is ready for a change.

yep. Happened to me on my recent big trip to North Carolina. That red screen freaked me out man. Guess better then actually blowing a tire. kept an eye on my tire pressures the rest of the trip and had no repeat of this false warning.

Please let us know how they feel compared to stock as im contemplating getting those bars soon.

waitng till remedy is ready before i put in a warranty claim or recall comes in Canada. Since bike is stuck in the garage till spring i can wait till then. Been tempted to get at the headlight to see whats wrong but thats alot of pieces to take out and i dont know if you can even open that...

Found the same problem with my 22 TC las month. For those in Canada here is the Transport Canada website to report vehicle defects. Not sure if American recall will automatically come north at same time or not...

been taking my TC on commute rides to work at temps. between 7-11 celsius in the mornings. At heat settings of 3 my option 719 seat warms up good after about 10 minutes. Went on a long ride it the evening last week and the seat kept my butt from freezing for sure. Though i ride with heated vest...

Thats weird. My Canadian r18tc can change km/h to mph in the settings. My old Victory had a head scratcher analog speedo too. No mph. Had to wing it everytime i crossed the border.

With good information on this forum and a good youtube clip on how to check the valve clearances, i also saved a ton of money and got to know my bike alot more.

Ive had a sidecar and they are cool. Would be cool on the R18. Will get one fitted in a couple years when my leaning urges have been satisfied.
