I generally get around 200km (maybe a bit extra) before the light comes on on the highway. I just set a trip meter every time I fill up and have a pretty good idea when to stop for a refuel.

My first ride was 1000km in the rain. I was happy to get off the bike at the end of the day but had a fun day none the less. I am personally fine with the seat and have had no need to upgrade it at the moment. Not the best but not the worst either in my opinion.

I had the same symptoms which turned out to be a faulty power/start switch that was not properly insulated from the weather. Apparently this issue has occurred on other bikes.
