Local Dealer has 40 BMW on showroom floor, not a single R18

Well MAX BMW in New England sold 2 and has 6 between CT, NY and NH. Worcester dealer has 4 2024 one of each except the no bag model. I love my R18 classic. What I don't get is the number being given away with 2-5,000 miles for around 10K$. It is nice with my 6th BMW to finally flat foot a bike...

    **SOLD** BMW/Mustang Weekender seat $400 (finally) 😉

I thought it was only one innch. I can't do 2 without being back to the balls of my feet. Does anyone make a seat that won't loose me height or at least very little?

    **SOLD** BMW/Mustang Weekender seat $400 (finally) 😉

Sigh, trouble with forums is you have to be on all the time. Can the seat be on without the pinion portion? Can back rest be bought from BMW only if I decide I must have it? How better than the stock R 18 classic seat? You pay shipping and I will give you the 400$.

    Rider Comfort

Have you sold the weekender yet. At 5'4" I think I can spare an inch on the bike....... How much do you need from someone on a fixed budget? Hope to ride for a few more years.

R18 is quite enjoyable : my opinion

Other than my Triumph Daytona 500, which I road my last two years of high school i have ridden nothing but BMWs for the last 50+ years. And, luckily, my big brother's friend was a motorcycle mechanic. Gauges, ignition cylinders losses, primary chain case issues....... This was followed by...

I gave up motorcycles years ago - Am I crazy to think about riding again?

So, I bought a 2023 a week after I sat on a friends HD Heritage Classic. First time flat footed. I have a lot of experience and turned 71 the next week. My right leg is getting better and it was only lifting it to the peg and rear brake usage got better as I completed my PT. My legs are strong...

    R18 vs Harley

I have ridden with dry periods and after 14 spell bought a 2009 R1200RT. My 5th BMW after a triumph in the late 60s. I never thought much about u turns till doing them on my 2023 R 18 Classic. Still getting that right. It is a longer bike than I have ever ridden. Being short(5.4 now) and 71, the...

    R18 Bagger Wannabe?

I agree entirely. I bought my 2023 R 18 classic as soon as I sat on it. This is my sixth BMW after A 60s Triumph which broke constantly in high school. For the vertically challenged (5'4" now at 71), It is a dream. Sales promotions simply made it sweeter. I took off pinion seat for now and...

    R18 Cross Country Seat backrest

Wonderlich has a passenger backrest/luggage rack. It is not cheap, but their stuff is really nice. I got their pinion rack and tank racks. You'd have to add your model into there page to verify it would work. Looks like you have the same pinion seat as my 2023 R 18 classic.
