If it has an adaptive headlight - then it is subject to the recall. My bike is a 2024 model (yours is a 2023), I can't see how the adaptive headlight would have been better in the MY23 than in the MY24. Sounds like BMW trying to wriggle their way out of it. Check back with Te ammoto...

The fix is being attended to "down-under". BMW have designed a new wiring loom for the module with override and cutoff relays in it in case of an electrical overload from the reverser module. The module itself has not been changed [well that is what the dealership told me here in "Bris-Vegas...

Reverser fixed finally... Now I have to start doing "Leg Day" at gym again.

A fair portion will be the exhaust system, oil cooler system, fuel system, electronics, battery, stand, gearbox, drivetrain (solid shaft), rear differential, forks, wheels, frame, crash bars, metal body work, fenders, bags, suspension and the myriad other componentry... dead easy to find over...

Here is the simplest MPH to KPH conversion... took me decades to find this..... Divide by 5, multiply by 8... doneski!!!! (60mph ÷ 5 = 12. 12 x 8 = 96kph) good to keep the old grey matter under the grey carpet working 😆

With the utmost respect for all... the BMW techs assured me that the error codes were recorded by the bike (they even told me when and effectively where geographically the error code occurred) and that there is a 2-stage clip on the headlight assembly which is interconnected with the ACC radar...

That's correct, the clip secures the array and the headlight and when it vibrated looseit caused a misalignment of the radar which shuts it down. I believe they did find this as the were able to tell me that the fault was recorded by the bike at 300km's before I took it in. They did not know...

Seems BMW might be on to those of us that may wish to reinstate the reverser after its mandated disconnect - At least in Australia. Mine had both cable 2 and 3 removed. Cable 2 is easy - make a new one and connect it. Cable 3 however, goes to the wiring harness (somewhere). Nigh on...
