Thank you. I have had my 2022 in twice and the dealer said there was no update available in the system. I still have ver. 012_007_030 that my 2022 TC came with in 02/2023 when I bought it.

I didn't make it far south enough for the Tail of the Dragon, but I road the Back of the Dragon in Virginia on my TC earlier this week. I was riding the Blue Ridge Parkway and it was a two hour detour, so I hopped over for a jaunt. The TC handled it fine.

Yes. When mine had the issue, it would try and turn over at least twice as long as your video and would not start. It would always fire on the second attempt. This lasted for a couple of months and then the issue went away.

This seems to be an issue that shows up after 1,000-3,000 miles for some users, myself included. It does not seem to matter where you fill up, at least for those of us that have been experiencing it. The good news is that it does seem to go away after a while.

Scott’s suggestion should fix it.

BMW recommends that you vary the RPMs during the initial 600 miles. You should be able to ride on the highway, just avoid long durations at a constant engine speed.

I called and spoke with the owner of MotorcycleDropGuards this afternoon. The Harley and Indian drop guards will both work on the R18. I ordered a set today and will post pictures when they arrive.
