Can anyone tell me the tool needed to remove the rear foot peg "bolts" style and size? Much appreciated....

I removed the rear seat from the bike, planning to remove the rear foot rests also. Does anyone see a problem removing the protection plate that guards the rear drive shaft. The foot rest/ protection plate is all one piece.... thanks.

I want to remove the rear footrests. The left side no problem. The ride side I noticed that the drive shaft protection piece and foot rest mount is all one piece. I kinda like the idea of that rear protection bracket...although I haven't worn bell bottoms in many decades to get caught in...
