With the two models you are interested in.... the major issues most come up against is the suspension (harsh) and seat comfort/position. Both these things can be sorted if needed, if one has the will/$.
In some markets (I'm Australian based) the early models did not come with cruise...
I have them... no scraping issues (best photo I have showing peg/bar height) ..... I run a +20mm wilbers rear shock and rarely scrape pegs these days.... only occasionally when doing a tight U turn where you "put the bike down" leaving your body more upright..... normally I lean in leaving...
Mmm.... I wouldn't stand near any open windows from, say the 2nd floor or higher, just in case you forget to use the stairs.... and stay off any roofs.

When stuck with something like this.... my "craft" brain goes to a piece of thick waxed leather in the appropiate color. Leather takes glue, velcro, punched holes etc.
You'll be amazed how much stronger you are when you stuff up in front of people..... especially attractive women.

I must live a boring life.... almost 12 months in and I can't recall ever using the horn. However, I recenty ran over a snake.... felt a bit bad about that.... but it was a pretty scary snake.
My annual service was 2 months out and my bike had clocked over 5,000km.... I change the oil anyhow.... and will probally just push the annual service an extra month or two out... so a 14 month annual service. I did not bother with the filter though...
