I really have no idea what the actual torque is ... I usually tighten mine down to where I can start feeling 'drag' ... but I have not had to do anything on the R18 in that direction ... I figure, take that top nut off (or at least loosen it up) and see if you can turn the one right underneath...

Try tightening down your steering neck bearing ... IMO there should be no 'play' ...

Worked on my FE as well ... but something had to be turn on in the configuration menu ... haven't found that part yet in my 911 menu .. the dealer did that for me ... when they were still around :LOL:

Try a guitar pick or something like that, and try sticking it under the edge in a few places, they should pop off then ... it is the rubber behind the roundel that may be sticking to it .. mine were a little stuck as well when I switched from chrome to copper ...

I think the 40 max is when popping it on the bead ... it says something like that real small on the side of the tire ...

I somewhat doubt that .. the squeal has always been there and seems to settle down as the pads age ... but yes, I clean the pin off real well and then put a really thin coat of molly grease on if ... not sure why I forgot to mention that ... maybe because it is something I just do ;)
